你好,我叫

I was born and raised in China. When I was 19, I dragged a giant suitcase out of a plane that landed in Seattle. Alone, foreign, and barely speak English, but I was able to learn, adapt, and grow 🌱

10 years later, people thought English was my first language. I broke out of my shell, got 3 design degrees (with honor 😉 ), and found my voice as a UX designer. I think life is great, and I’m here for more adventures.

February 2021, I founded UX Aglow (now Glow Up Web Design) and joined Wix Partner. With another designer’s help, we work with Wix, WordPress, and Squarespace, providing quality web services and graphic design with UX in mind. 💪💪💪 Amazing passion leads to amazing growth. We are now a 4 people team and look forward to help any passionate business owners in need.

In the past few years, we have worked with many small business owners, nonprofit organizations and government entities around the US. We love what we do, helping businesses launch, grow and succeed with the best UX practices. 🏆

Design to Make a Difference

When I was about seven, our household can finally afford hot showers. While everyone was excited about the brand new heating system, I wondered why the water came out extremely cold, then hot, and finally the desirable temperature. To visualize what was causing this, I took the water system apart in my mind.

I turned the water on and off several times to watch and listen how the control box acts. I realized that it uses fire to heat water. When the fire ignites, the water gets overheated, causing the temperature to spike high. The water in the shower head was never heated, so it came out cold, and followed by the overheated water. Gallons of water were wasted due to unusable temperature.

Being the geeky designer myself, I never forgot my childhood trouble and came up with a solution that saves water and hid tangly tubes.
